Staci Dresher

Staci Dresher is the Founder and President of DCI Group. She is a licensed attorney, private investigator and skilled workplace investigator (AWI-CH certificate holder) with more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of law and investigations serving civil and criminal defense lawyers, investment professionals, government officials, board directors and business executives. 

 

Following a career as a civil and IP litigator at two AM Law 100 law firms and as a partner and in-house counsel at a global corporate intelligence firm, Staci launched Dresher Consulting & Investigations in 2021 to investigate allegations of workplace misconduct, provide business risk-mitigation services and conduct bespoke investigations during civil, intellectual property and white-collar criminal legal disputes. To serve her clients on a larger scale, Staci joined forces with several experienced attorneys and researchers to form DCI Group.

 

As a workplace attorney-investigator, Staci specializes in investigating allegations of fraud, corruption, conflicts of interest, bribery, harassment, discrimination and other interpersonal issues. Utilizing her wide network, she partners with professionals who help respond to the immediate situation, such as employee mediators, physical security professionals, forensic accountants and industry-specific consultants and counsel. 

 

As a private investigator, Staci and her experienced research team gather facts and admissible evidence, find hidden money, unravel fraud schemes and find and interview knowledgeable sources for litigators and business decision-makers. 

 

Staci earned her J.D. from UC Law San Francisco (fka Hastings College of the Law) and a B.A. from UC San Diego. She serves on the Board of Governors at UC Law SF, is a group leader of a robust Provisors professional networking group, and is active with the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) and Women in White Collar Defense Association (WWCDA). 

 

She frequently gives presentations and speaks at industry conferences on investigation tactics, internal fraud investigations and ethical considerations for professionals who hire private investigators. Staci lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family and is constantly planning their next adventure travels.
